Missing Hikers Alec Brown and Erica Klintworth Updates

The two American foreign study program students is now in Christchurch after being trapped for several nights in the wilderness of New Zealand. For the pasts nine-days, both of them found themselves in the middle of a situation they do not anticipate to happen when they decided to take a camp without knowing the awaiting disastrous weather condition ahead of them.

They tried to rationed their food supplies to survive the heavy rains and snowstorm which also prevented them to cross the river to return home. But before that, the couple hiked in South Island's hot springs for days and when the Southern Hemisphere struck, they started to do the right thing just to warmed themselves. According to them, they need to take a small amount of biscuit as well jelly just to overcome their hungers.

Furthermore, both of them are now in a safe conditions as search and rescue teams doesn't waste their time just to find the two 21-year-old students. Originally, they are studying in University of Wisconsin - Steven Points in United States and as a part of their journey, they found themselves in Australia away from their parents who started to panic upon hearing the news about of what happened in their son and daughters.

In addition, the couple started their hiking last June 1, 2012 and was reportedly missing as one of their fellow students brought the alarm to authorities. And they spent their eight-days soaking their bodies in hot pools just to survive the cold.
