Amber gave her statement in Good Morning America about her attempt to overdose herself with Suboxone, a pills used to patch psychoactive opioid addiction. According to report, she tried to take more than the maximum prescription given by her attending physicians while in rehabilitation center. For three days straight, she took four or five tablets in a single dosage.
Sad to say, she is currently serving her time behind the bars for five years that started last January. The 21-year-old and former MTV's Teen Mom controversial star continue to struggle from the battle she cannot win, substance abuse. However, she doesn't lose her faith and she wanted to overcome everything by attending classes that can help her own self.
Furthermore, if she wanted to get over with her addiction, she probably need a helping hands and understanding from the people around her. She quits her first program but now, her daughter inspired the young mother to continue her new quest in life.
