The lead investigator Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman murder case passed away last Friday, January 20, 2012 due to his cancer complications. His brother recently confirm his death in Southern California hospital. His brave testimony against a former football star, O.J. Simpson can be remembered by those people who knows too much about him. He appeared personally in court during the murder trial and he is known as a veteran investigator during his time.
Aside from O.J., he also lead the investigation which put a former film director, Roman Polanski behind the bars in a rape-indicted case. He spent his time working with Los Angeles Police District (LAPD) and he retired in 1995 after the case of Nicole and Ronald but remains the consultant for authority.
Furthermore, Vannatter's court testimonies gave a clear grounds to solve a series of future cases. And he might be one of United States legendary detective during his time.
