The Associated Press is reporting the death of Edwin Newman, a former television personality from the newscast squad of NBC. He died from pneumonia at the age of 91 in Oxford last August 13, 2010. You might one of those folks who can remember the 3-decade correspondent who just recently move to England with his wife to live with their daughter.
Edwin Newman is a well known reporter on "Strictly Speaking" program of the above mentioned television network and in "A Civil Tongue" as noted by the source. He's been in his profession since 1952 touching lives of anyone following his appearances until 1984. The man is also one of the country's voice in radio anchoring the greatest news that happened in the history of United States.
